Current

Commercial & Marketing Manager
Responsible for the commercial management and profitability of global businesses, including Canada, China, Brazil, Sweden, Latvia, Costa Rica and the Chilean domestic market, both for bottled and bulk wine, reporting directly to the general manager and the board of directors. The commercial and marketing team leaded by me is a group of 6 people, including export managers, a brand manager and a backoffice assistant, among others. The foregoing includes a relationship with all those involved in the production chain, from the printing press and its designers, winemakers, laboratories, customs agency and shipping companies. Among my main achievements are having designed a comprehensive control panel for the organization that allows us to view internal sales statistics along with stocks control and input purchases. I was responsible for opening the markets of Costa Rica and Sweden. As for Sweden, a close employment relationship was created with the agent who represents us before the Systembolaget, an alcohol monopoly in the Scandinavian country, who signed a tender for a significant number of containers with certain periodicity. It should be noted that the contact was made from the beginning at the Prowein Düsseldorf fair, an activity that I attended in recent years. Likewise, I led the process of an important tender with Holo Space, an emerging retail in China from Tangshan, Hebei, which commits us to systematically deliver a certain volume of containers per year. Being at the head of the marketing area, we were able to launch the renewed website of the winery, where I was in charge of the layout and direct translation of all the texts. Likewise, we developed the "Invitis" brand, which includes wines from non-traditional grape varieties for the Chilean terroir, a launch that managed to position the winery in different on and off trade points of sale in Chile, as well as in other countries.
Country Manager
Commercial Deputy Manager in charge of the sales management of all the mass consumer brands of Empresas Carozzi: Costa, Ambrosoli, Vivo, Carozzi, Trattoria, Master Dog, among others, for the Bolivian market, the third largest within the portfolio of the company exports. Within that country, four trade marketing executives report directly to me, whose responsibility is to develop the market and increase sales at destination. Additionally within my client portfolio there are also other markets: Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Australia, New Zealand and French Polynesia. Among my responsibilities are the profitability control by categories (18 categories in total), frequent commercial visits to my markets, education of the sales force in strategic categories and generation of promotional strategies at the point of sale.
Area Manager Asia & The Caribbean
Export Manager for Asia and the Caribbean. Among my responsibilities are the creation of sales and expense budgets for the area, the opening of new markets, trademark registration, control of expenses and sales, regular visits to customers in their markets, assistance and tastings at fairs, public relations, among other. The most important markets were China, Hong Kong and Japan, countries with which I had often visits and a close relationship with the importer and its sales force. Likewise, I also had the opportunity to successfully prospect markets in South Korea (through the support of Prochile and Wines of Chile) both with the main portfolio and with secondary brands in regions other than Mainland China. Likewise, my work in Asia included attending Vinexpo Hong Kong and other relevant fairs or events in the region, either to support the importer or to prospect new markets where there was no presence.
Export Manager
Export Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean. Among my responsibilities are the opening of new markets, registration of brands, control of expenses and sales, design of budgets, regular visits to customers in their markets, assistance and tastings at fairs, PR activities, etc. Among the markets in my portfolio are Panama, Costa Rica, Cayman Islands and Martinique, destinations with great demand for sparkling wines and spirits given the level of tourism from European tourists.
Export Manager
Marketing and sales executive in charge of supporting the management and development of the Montes Alpha and Kaiken brands for the markets of Europe, the United States, Canada and Asia, together with the design of new products (packaging, labels, bottles), gifting , promotional material, advertising and social media, internal marketing, among others. Export Manager for Indonesia, developing the market from the search for an importer through fairs in Asia to the arrival of the container, positioning the winery as a leader in the fine wine category (> 100 US $ / C9L) in that country. Export Manager for Canada and Eastern Europe. In Canada, the work consisted of increasing the brand's visibility against the SAQ and the LCBO, making it stand out in the quarterly promotional activities carried out with our agents at destination. In Eastern Europe, my main markets were Poland and the Czech Republic, which followed a push strategy; The challenge was to build business plans based on wine distribution channels and thus increase depletions according to budget.
