Responsible for managing all aspects of information technology for a national bulk transport carrier with annual revenues exceeding $200 million. Actively develop, implement and manage the strategic direction for the corporate computing infrastructure and systems to ensure the alignment of technologies to achieve the organization’s goals. Provide guidance and consultation in the area of new technology acquisitions for members of the functional leadership team. Maintain business continuity, records retention and legal discovery processes and procedures. Manage budgetary issues, including the analysis of cost factors for the corporate computing infrastructure, and all matters related to total cost of ownership (TCO) for hardware, application development and contract administration. Negotiate and manage all data network, telecommunication, and technology purchasing contracts. Manage programming subcontractors and outsourced information systems auxiliary functions (i.e. SAAS (Software as a Service), Fleet Technologies, ERP, cloud hosted and repair services).

As a Senior Consultant project assignments would vary in length from three months to two years.  Included in my duties was support of new business development and mentorship of new employees. All assignments involved a high degree of independence and interaction with all levels of client management.  Excellent communication skills and technical competency was required at all times.  Below is a brief outline of my major projects and their outcomes.  MAJOR PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: Sentinel Transportation Company, Wilmington DE.* In concert with the Chief Financial Officer and Human Resources director designed the business process and provided strategies and procedures for the migration of existing human resources and accounting data from parent company host based system to a Microsoft client / server environment.Rhone-Poulenc Rorer,  Collegeville PA.* Managed their 24x7 network operations center support and administration.  Recommended, designed and installed network server platforms, Data Communications hardware and enhancements.* Administered application Change control for all departments in a shared Windows environment.* Provided application support and integration for national sales contact database application.J.P. Morgan Inc. Global Banking Division, Christiana DE.* Planned and implemented two large scale migrations of securities and commodities trading support staffs with real time systems including multiple Netware networks, UNIX based monitoring systems and all supporting software. Migration was accomplished with zero downtime for the securities trading function* Designed and implemented AS/400 and ES9000 connectivity for WAN based users in a nationwide credit investigation support system. * Provided 24x7 second tier support for a campus based LAN/WAN connectivity, consisting of 60+ Netware file servers, gateways and communications servers. Managed Disaster recovery and business continuity.
