During my first role managing a portfolio of retail customers, I successfully developed a computer program that repriced over 10,000 loans affected by drops in usury rates. I also completed the end-to-end Credit Card budget for FY 2021, demonstrating my financial planning and analytical abilities.Additionally, I created in-house dashboards and codes to establish and monitor KPIs for business units, providing relevant insights and actionable information to stakeholders. I was responsible for structuring and managing a portfolio of loans totaling over US$300 million, spanning more than 25 corporate clients. I contributed to closing some of the Bank's largest loans for three consecutive years, working closely with legal teams across El Salvador, Canada, and New York. Notably, I played a key role in closing the Bank’s first-ever Interest Rate Swap Facility, successfully hedging US$150 million in loans.I also ensured the low operational risk of my portfolio, as confirmed by a successful external audit. My ability to manage problematic, non-performing loans further highlighted my financial acumen. Additionally, my performance earned me nominations for Best Performing Employee for two consecutive years, recognizing my consistent delivery of results and leadership within the organization.

I was responsible for managing customer relationships and developing cash management strategies for the Bank’s portfolio of commercial companies. During my tenure, I successfully negotiated and closed the Bank’s first commercial loan under Ontario Law, marking a significant milestone. Additionally, I established the Bank’s first relationship with a multinational air transport company, which resulted in over US$2 million in average account balances and opened up a range of ancillary business opportunities. My efforts led to the highest portfolio growth within the Commercial Banking team, for both loan and cash management products, earning me a nomination for Best Performing Employee.
