My research focussed on modelling neural population dynamics producing spatiotemporal patterns and investigating their ability to code for the coordination of perception and action. The primary mode of action that I worked on was spiking based on coincidence detection within network transmission delays. These were shown to work for both reactive and adaptive robotics tasks with tolerance to noise and high dynamic memory capacity.
