Develop and deliver training curriculum for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit comprising 800+ personnel. Supervise 13 personnel including Safety Petty Officer, Schedules Petty Officer, Supply Petty Officer, Acoustic and EWO Instructor, and Master Training Specialist in daily activities. Coordinate class and instruction scheduling. Develop departmental action plans. Perform as Drug & Alcohol program advisor; counsel peers and subordinates on drugs and alcohol, and manage alcohol-related incidents. Provide photography services as needed for re-enlistments, retirements, and other special occasions. Key Contributions: • Led all modifications of 3rd-party prepared training curriculum to fit Navy’s internal ISD model; piloted 5-member team in ensuring all course materials were kept up to date and accurate. • Drove course rewrite of AWO rating curriculum in Inverse Synthetic Aperture RADAR and Pulse Analysis systems to provide 800+ U.S. Navy, Federal, and Foreign military personnel with up-to-date material for training and systems utilization.• Facilitated 100% pass rate for 200+ military personnel by serving as primary Under Sea Warfare Instructor; conducted daily instruction on complex airborne detection and tracking systems and other automated sensor systems installed onboard P-3C and SH-60R aircraft.• Reduced alcohol-related incidents within command 80% by serving as drug and alcohol program advisor and training new staff and students on effects of drug and alcohol abuse.
