I started in the early nineties in the service and maintenance of electrical installations. At that time, electrical installations were often built with the necessary care, but there was no supervision of maintenance. More and more there was a call for standards and guidelines. And they came too. I served for 12 years as chairman and later as board member of the Department of Management & Inspections at Techniek Nederland and founder of the joint sector organization NVIB in which he was the driving force behind the structure and quality in installation inspections.At the start of the Parkstad Inspections company in 2002, I already had extensive knowledge and experience of electrical installations. Initially, the NEN 3140 standard was the starting point for ensuring a safe working environment. More standards and guidelines followed after the NEN 3140. Parkstad Inspections grew with this. With the acquisition of the inspection and energy advisory services division of Essent in 2011, the company expanded considerably. From that moment on, Parkstad Inspections also focused on services such as gas inspections, energy advice and condition measurements. Based on the same philosophy: setting and applying standards contributes to safe combustion plants and clear advice.Between 2010 and 2018, I stood at the cradle of various quality systems and standards as a member of the SCIOS College of Experts and the NEC623 committee. I actively participated in the development of the following standards: NEN 3140, NEN 9140, NEN 8025, NTA 8220 and NTA 8040-1. In 2018 I decided to take it slower. I sold my share of Parkstad Inspections at the end of that year but remained active for the organization.From the spring of 2019, I also provides consultancy and training services for the American company Fluke Calibration. For this, I support this company in training and advising customers in the EMEA countries after they have purchased a FlukeCal Product. I received thorough internal training for this from the Fluke Calibration team in Eindhoven, but also on location with customers. Since then, I provide hardware and software training for laboratories across EMEA. I am experienced in installing MET/TEAM/CAL and providing the associated introductory and enhanced training for MET/TEAM, MET/CAL and Crystal Reports.I am also supporting various entrepreneurs with the start of their business. That can be as an consultant, but also with participation. That is how I got involved as n shareholder at Goodfuture BV and ORTEON BV.
