My background with small farmers in Colombia guided me to learn how to produce sustainable coffees, evaluate impacts of new technologies implementation and transform the traditional production into a regenerative organic ecosystem. During that time, I have been able to work with woman coffees, and minorities associations to promote their products with small impact to their culture but helping them to develop their communities. My background in technology and electronics helps me to understand and implement digital solutions for diverse issues, and my work with farmers led me to close collaboration with Agronomist and soil experts that made me to develop a good knowledge and the ability to use technical language to communicate with them and to follow procedures recommended by researchers.Environment and sustainability manager with 10 years track leading towards successful results:• Got certifications to export organic USDA-NOP, Rainforest alliance ® and Bird friendly coffees to Europe, USA and Japan, led to double price of green coffee contracts, multiplied exported volume by 3 times and increase revenues to 910%.• Set an Organic coffee plantation with more than 5000 new native trees, build and equipped a modern facility for coffee process with technology for reducing water consumption by 80%, and designed a compost zone to reduce wastes environmental impact from a pig’s farm and turned it into an organic fertilizer factory reducing maintenance costs by 10%.• Developed strategic initiatives to reduce CO2 footprint from value chain of the business by 5% and incorporated biogas equipment to cut electricity bills.
