1. Prepare a corporate strategy and annual business plan, monitoring progress against these plans to ensure that the company attains its objectives as cost-effectively, efficiently and safe as possible.2. Oversee the preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts of the Company, ensuring their approval by the Board. This includes controlling and approving the company’s cash flow and monthly reviews of P & L, balance sheets, etc.3. Prepare, gain acceptance, and monitor the implementation of the annual budget to ensure that targets are met for each department, that revenues are maximised and that fixed costs are minimised. Ensure that the Company has positive EBIT. Report results monthly to the CFO and CEO.4. Conduct strategic meetings and progress reviews with members of the board and senior management, keeping them aware of developments within the company and industry. Ensure that the Company’s mission and objectives are progressing in line with their expectations.5. Oversee all the projects and resources within the entity/region. Ensure all personnel have the necessary skills, direction and training to achieve Axess' goals and contractual agreements. 6. Adjust the company’s direction according to the market conditions to ensure the company is as successful as possible. Adjust and redefine scopes and services to fit in with the common challenges found in the client’s projects, allowing the company to be at the forefront of the industry.7. Business development - Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers. Initiate and deliver successful sales numbers month on month according to the annual budget and forecast. Build a network of returning clients by delivering the highest quality services.8. Develop and maintain HSEQ systems (ISO9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, BizSafe) throughout the company to ensure that the best possible services are provided to our customers safely, within a timely manner and within budget.

I was the second employed person within the Axess Singapore entity tasked with building up a successful regional presence. This included all aspects of starting up a business from office selection, budgeting and forecasting, hiring of personnel, finding suppliers, all the way to business development and retaining customers. This gave me exposure to all aspect of business set up, development and busy operations. After the initial set up, my responsibilities were for the day-to-day operations of the company. This included close collaboration and overseeing project managers and operations teams to ensure all our clients are being serviced according to our contracts and company's values. Safety of the offshore engineers was of paramount importance to the role and the company, it was my responsibility that all employees knew the necessary company procedures, had the right training and kept the company's WE: Values through all aspects of their work.I was heavily involved in business development and the meeting of new and existing clients throughout the Asia Pacific region. As part of this, I was directly involved in spearheading the company’s strategy and success over the years, which resulted it exceeding company budgets both top and bottom line for the three years.

Worked closely with the Operations Manager, Warehouse and Operations Team to ensuring the department succeeded in carrying out successful projects and gave the necessary support to the Project Managers. Troubleshooted and solved all issues that arose during the day to day business operations. Worked together to streamline tasks to ensure maximum efficiency.
