Over the years, I have honed my expertise in complex solution selling, sales forecasting, key account management and C-suite mapping, focusing on payments, software sales and digital transformation generally. My experience has primarily been in the financial services sector, but have had the opportunity to service the telecom, fintech and public sectors in East and Southern Africa. Joining SAP at a time when it boasted a singular financial services customer, I am proud of my achievements by the time I left the software company, closing landmark deals in no fewer than five regional banks - four of them Tier 1 - and one insurer. The one streak I wield that an organisation would delight in is in my knack for rehabilitating strained relationships with customers. With the right support, this is something I have made my name for. From a leadership perspective, some of the individuals hired, mentored and led by myself in past stints have moved on to become corporate leaders in their own right, an achievement I am profoundly proud of. At dzcard, my focus is on expanding our smartcard and payment solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa with a strategic approach to C-level engagement and partnerships. My role involves driving business growth, with the responsibility of a US$3M revenue budget.Overall, my tenure has been in senior sales and account management leadership within the realms of payment, digital transformation, SaaS, native and cloud software, as well as in recruiting or supervising delivery partners.
