- Conducted and analyzed qualitative research data from 30+ participants in Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal, plus an online survey in the same countries, (200 respondents, 70% response rate), synthesizing results to provide an in-depth understanding of feminist organizing and challenges faced by young women in West Africa.- Developed a comprehensive report and storyboard documenting the challenges and successes of the women and recommended strategies to address identified issues.- Designed and carried out specialized training sessions: feminisms, gender-based and sexual violence, intersectional approach, financing feminist organizations.- Responsible for preparing and managing budgets for the Senegal part of the project.

- Researched local fabric, garment and sewing material production practices in the New York region, with a focus on sustainable practices, for the director of the fashion BFA, Marie Genevieve Cyr.- Mapped mills, farms that produce natural dies and other primary resources, and organizations that use sustainable fashion as one of their points of focus using ArcGIS and Google Maps.- Collected and analyzed qualitative data from 200 local associations, businesses and universities; findings used for visits and workshops for BFA students on the production and value chain of the fashion production and design ecosystems.

Development and Education in the Vernacular for Infants and children (DEVI) Project- Conducted extensive field research in rural villages across Ghana, Togo, and Senegal as part of the DEVI project, focusing on local education and development practices. Lived in 9 villages (3 in each country), spending a month in each to deeply immerse in local cultures and educational practices. Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability by effectively navigating diverse social, economic, and political landscapes in West Africa. Enhanced my understanding of the intersection between local practices and global education policies, contributing to more culturally informed and sustainable development interventions.- Employed participatory research methods to observe and document how children learn math and science through play and daily activities. Recorded observations, photographs, and videos to capture the intricacies of children’s cognitive development within their cultural contexts. Analyzed the impact of social inequalities, including gender and generational differences, on children's learning processes and outcomes.- Conducted in-depth interviews with over 90 key stakeholders (10 in each village) to gather diverse insights on education and child development. Organized and led public consultations involving institutional and community stakeholders.- Collaborated in the production of a documentary film showcasing the findings, which was subsequently screened in the villages to share insights and foster community engagement.

West Africa / Western Balkans Artistic Activism project- Participated in the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning process of a 2-year fellowship about Creative Activism for 30 artistic activists and professionals in West Africa and the Balkans.- Conducted interviews with West African participants for the book and movie about the Creative Activism project.

Dakar, Sénégal

Curated the "Retrospective on Odia's work : women in public space" exhibition at the Women's Museum in Dakar. The Museum commissioned the selection and installation of some of the artist's work, relating it to different themes around the politics of women's presence in the public space. Conducted interviews with the artist about his work in video format.

- Curated the “What Were You Wearing?” exhibition in 5 cities across Senegal. Each event attracted more than 200 guests.- Managed and organized open discussions, conferences, workshops, concerts and other activities to diversify advocacy efforts. These events participated in spreading debates around gender-based violence in the country.- Recruited and supported facilitators and collaborators.- Mapped support resources for victims of gender-based violence. Designed a gender equality awareness glossary.

Coordination of qualitative research for the preparation of a West Africa version of the "What were you wearing?" exhibition- Produced guidelines for local partners in West African countries OSIWA has an office to conduct interviews with GBV survivors. Collated date received to produce a report and text for a West African What Were You Wearing exhibition.
