Fritz Klingler, P.E., founded FK Engineering Associates to provide underground infrastructure engineering services to local and State government, industry, other A/E firms, and contractors. Current role involves business development and marketing for new opportunities, strategic planning for growth of the firm, and managing/mentoring staff. Also managing several large projects for FKE, including design for the $70 million rehabilitation of the Detroit River Interceptor, and several contracts involving design for rehabilitation of GLWA's CSO Outfall system and wastewater conveyance system.

Greater Detroit Area

Lead the Civil and Geotechnical Engineering practice from 1999 to 2007, and the Public Infrastructure Division from 2008 through 2011. During that time, also served as project manager or project director for a number of large projects, including the geotechnical design for the $210 million Conner Creek CSO Basin, several DWSD General Engineering Services Contracts, the $10 million salt cavern and foundation analysis for the Detroit River International Crossing Feasibility Study, the $12 million Macomb PCI-12A sewer repair, the $160 million Oakland-Macomb Interceptor Drain rehabilitation, and others.
