Developed virtual reality projects as part of a MFA studio art program. Created a VR experience called Oneirogen with a supporting thesis paper exploring the role of VR in studio practice. Oneirogen is a dreamlike circular journey through the depths of my subconscious. Inspired by the writings of Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell, flow from one interactive environment to the next as you experience a magical trip through mysterious realms. It was released on Steam for use on the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. Fulfilled duties as graduate fellow assisting teachers for two classes per semester, helping students develop final projects and providing feedback in a group critique and one and one settings. Helped spread the word of XR at the University of Minnesota, by demoing VR at events and introducing it as a guest speaker in various departments.
