The company specializes in outsource development of small and medium projects. Most of these were closed systems for business needs, but occasionally, we also developed public websites.My work routine:• Developing APIs for client applications using the latest versions of PHP and Symfony.• Conducting interviews for backend developers.• Functional and unit testing.• Documenting APIs according to the OpenAPI 3 standard.• Automating all processes (linting, static analysis, testing, Docker image building, deployment, etc.) using GitLab CI and GitHub Actions.• Setting up infrastructure from scratch and deploying applications using Terraform and Pulumi in Kubernetes clusters hosted on Google Cloud and Yandex Cloud.• Performing tasks of a tech lead: keeping track of trends, studying technologies, and adjusting the company's technical development course; making decisions about which technologies to use on the backend and frontend.• Assisting the frontend team in optimizing workflows.• Participating in project estimation and planning.Highlights:• Introduced the infrastructure as code approach using Pulumi, and later transitioned the company to Terraform.• Eliminated the need for a dedicated DevOps specialist in the backend team by simplifying and documenting the infrastructure.• Actively shared knowledge and raised the proficiency of both frontend and backend teams in applied technologies: HTTP, CDN, CI/CD, Docker, and testing.• Developed and implemented tools for effective API documentation according to the OpenAPI 3 specification.• Thanks to the use of OpenAPI 3, successfully introduced the practice of automatic API client code generation from our documentation in the frontend team.• Developed small utility microservices to save time, which we later used in all our projects to solve common tasks (SMS sending, file uploading, video post-processing).• Implemented the practice of static code analysis using Psalm in the strictest mode.
