As the Weapons Company Clerk for 3rd Battalion 7th Marines I was responsible for maintaining records of personal, assets and equipments including an armory inventory in excess of 10 million dollars and 7,500 individual pieces of equipment. In addition to company level duties I was often tasked at the battalion and regimental levels to develop SOPs, databases and work flows tracking the deployment of Marines and equipment around the work. In 2002 I worked on the TCTFS system a search enabled database that gave operational details on any unit, personal, or piece of equipment within the regiment was later deployed across the Marine Corps.

Up and Running Computers was a consulting, networking and IT services company I started out of high school to fill the need for IT support and desktop refurbishment in the local market. I would buy equipment from fire sale auctions and business recycling and then refurbish and resale the refurbished products to college students throughout the Tallahassee metro area. With my partner and two employees we provided on-demand computer support services for small businesses and the local residential market. When I joined the Marine Corps I sold the business to my partner.
