Main Responsibilities and Contributions:- Assisted in the management of Accounts Payable by adding and maintaining the accuracy of supplier information, matching supplier invoices with purchase orders when needed, monthly reconciling creditor accounts to supplier invoices/statements, identifying and correcting any errors or discrepancies, accurately and timely processing a high volume of invoices or credit notes on a monthly basis, and preparing supplier payments within supplier trading terms.- Accomplished end to end involvement in all Accounts Receivables matters and queries such as reviewing, revising and distributing invoices/credit notes to debtors ensuring compliance to timelines, accuracy and data integrity, maintaining records of outstanding debtors and make arrangement for follow up, and establishing key relationships with debtors and respond to their enquiries in a timely manner.- Processed fortnightly payroll for all 20+ casual and permanent employees, verifying timesheets with clients for completeness and accuracy, calculating and processing annual leave, sick leave, unused annual leave when terminated, remuneration increases, back pays, superannuation and PAYG tax withholding, and maintaining confidentiality of payroll data with respect to privacy legislation.- Completed monthly bank reconciliation in accounting software MYOB and XERO, allocating payments to 45+ accounts for three clients in a timely situation, reconciling bank statements with records of sales and expense by using VLOOKUP function in Excel and liaising with clients for follow up unmatched bank transactions.- Supported with month-end tasks with mentor such as BAS preparation. Achievements: - Improved the efficiency and accuracy of accounts payable operations by 15% and was awarded Employee of the Month for performing great work. - Achieved $280 savings for client by finding out two duplicate invoices and avoided the double payment.
