XR Producer and Cinematographer, with a passion for fusing the world between cinema and virtual reality. I am currently working with Arizona State University to build out their Narrative and Emerging Media M.A. program in Los Angeles, and to envision mixed media education in the future. I am a passionate technologist with a knack for understanding and innovating in the borderlands of multiple digital media modalities. From a background in Documentary film, and consulting in cinema technology, to developing volumetric filmmaking courses for students, I am charting a course that is guided by a deep fascination and respect for science and technology, and a never ending drive to coach and educate students, creatives and producers on how to apply new technologies. I am a strong creative leader that understands how creativity needs both strong support and the correct critical questions.I am maintaining a lifelong professional career as a cinematographer especially within documentaries, which complements and informs my producing. This also drives my curiosity and experimentation in future camera systems, including Volumetric and Event cameras.I am always open to hear new ideas and test out new technologies, especially if they relate to how we see and perceive the world and each other.
