ETISENSE (www.etisense.com) is a Lyon-based deeptech startup founded in 2018 that develops connected cardiac and respiratory monitoring solutions. In concrete terms? DECRO, our first product, is a telemetry vest incorporating sensors designed to monitor the physiology of laboratory animals non-invasively. This solution is designed for preclinical research teams evaluating the mechanisms of action of drug candidates and their toxicity, or conducting fundamental research into physiopathology. The challenge? To enable medical research that combines performance, ethics and animal welfare.

Monitoring physiological parameters in preclinical research is a challenging activity. In rodents, existing gold standards methods for cardiac or respiratory are either invasive, or stressful and often heavy to carry out. DECRO provide non-intrusive cardiopulmonary monitoring devices for preclinical research. Our solutions have been designed to help scientists to improve the quality of the data collected. We also aim to support our customers to get through the current reinforcement of the ethics rules by providing them with innovative non-invasive measurement solutions.
