As an ABM Talent Acquisition, Frances was responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring exceptional professionals in the facilities management and engineering field. She was responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process, including posting, sourcing, advertising, candidate communication, scheduling, and managing the onboarding process for thousands of new hires. To support the sourcing efforts, Frances cultivated a broad range of external networks, including unions, community partners, Career Technical Education, and veterans' services. ABM is one of the world’s largest providers of facility services and solutions. ABM’s comprehensive services include janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, HVAC and mechanical, and much more. ABM serves a wide range of industries – from commercial office buildings to universities, airports, hospitals, distribution centers, entertainment venues and more.

Frances was employed by the temp agency, Ultimate Staffing, that placed her as Talent Acquisition at ABM. After five months, she was hired as a permanent employee at ABM.

Working behind the scenes at the Distribution Center as a seasonal Human Resources Assistant in the Talent Acquisition Department, Frances played an important part during the company's peak season by recruiting and hiring highly qualified and diverse individuals who exemplified accuracy, speed and efficiency. She provided support to the HRBP while conducting employee evaluations. She was also the primary point person for on-site job fairs. Frances updated and maintained the HRIS to include personnel files, profiles, new hire paperwork, bid acceptances and personnel change status.The TJX Companies is the leading off-price retailer in the U.S. and worldwide.

In her role as the Finance and Development Associate, Frances was responsible for the daily financial operations of the organization and was critical in supporting the organization’s development efforts and goals toward long-term sustainability. Frances was key is the grassroots efforts to reach the organization's annual fundraising goals by implementing focused donor engagement. In the nonprofit's model of all hands on deck, Frances supported the on-boarding process for new hires and oversaw volunteer activities.CLRJ has evolved to be the leading California-based Latina Reproductive Justice organization that cultivate leadership through community education, policy advocacy, community-informed research and long-term movement-building strategies.

Leading a staff of 15 as the Store Manager, Frances ensured exceptional customer service from staff. She directed the day-to-day operations to maximize sales by boosting the customer loyalty program, Fans of Annas. She also created promotional displays as part of the weekly advertisement. Anna's Linens offered superior value at affordable prices for every room in the house that inspired their customers to feel good about their homes.

Frances recruited and hired diverse talent for permanent and seasonal positions in two new locations-one location earned over $20,000 on it's grand opening. She provided mentoring and professional development for those who expressed interest in a leadership role. She facilitated risk management/safety protocol training and led team building exercises. Sports Avenue operated 48 retail stores across the United States and 12 ecommerce sites, that sold officially licensed NFL, NCAA, MLB, NBA, NHL and NASCAR headwear, apparel and accessories.
