Owner of a consulting business focused on business intelligence and analytics services focused on marketing applications. Broad range of interests and experiences, recognized with academic honors. Motivated and committed to excellence and teamwork.Interested in aircraft and aviation from an early age, attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo for a hands-on, in-depth education concentrating in aeronautics. Upon graduating, proceeded to work at NASA Dryden (Now Armstrong Center) in the aerodynamics branch focusing on applied CFD. Spent the first couple of years working in design, prediction, and optimization of a laminar flow glove and flexible flap designs while obtaining multiple achievement and innovation awards from both Jacobs Engineering and NASA. Later moved to the structures group focusing on external aerodynamic loads prediction. Currently residing in the beautiful San Diego and previously worked at General Atomics Aeronautical. Started in the CFD branch of the Flight Technologies group, working on a variety of projects from propulsion system integration aerodynamics, weapons system predictions, interior aircraft fluid flow, instrumentation placement and integration and a variety of other topics. Transferred to the Mechanical Engineering group working as the Supervisor for the Business Planning and Support group; whose purpose is to provide resource management and planning, competency development, tool and database management, and analytics for the department.

Aeronautical EngineerGeneral Atomics Aeronautical Systems Nov 2012 - Jun 2016Propulsion CFD engineer whose responsibilities include the aerodynamic integration of the propulsion system for advanced UAVs. Run commercial computational tools to analyze the complex flow field around the inlet and exhaust of integrated engines. Work includes assessing inlet distortion and harmonics, exhaust nozzle performance, propeller flow modeling, thrust drag bookkeeping and more . Produce rapid, accurate and repeatable results by scripting and batching analysis, processes, and visualizations. Worked on a variety of other CFD projects. These include the trajectory prediction of stores released from the aircraft. Prediction of internal and eternal aerodynamic flows to support eductor design, instrumentation placement and calibration, and overall aircraft aerodynamic properties. Support flight test and static engine runs and compare analysis against test results to ensure accuracy of predictions. Concisely summarize work and analysis into department reports, memos, and presentations. Collaborate with external partners to further the goals of all interested parties. -
External Loads EngineerTybrin Corporation Oct 2011 - Oct 2012Nasa Dryden Flight Research CenterGenerate net loads for aircraft flight experiments using a combination of aerodynamic and inertial loads. Develop the critical load cases using FAA and NASA DFRC standards including gust, maneuver, rolling, and crash loads and safely restrict the experimental flight envelope where necessary. Provide data and interface with stress analysts, aerodynamicists, and pilots in order to safely meet project goals and objectives. Support major project reviews, write loads reports, help assess and generate project schedules, risks, and hazards. -
Aerodynamic EngineerTybrin Corporation Sep 2009 - Oct 2011Nasa Dryden Flight Research CenterConduct aerodynamic analysis in support of NASA's Subsonic Research Aircraft (SCRAT). Use a variety of aerodynamic tools for full-aircraft analysis ranging from analytical and empirical methods, boundary layer codes, vortex lattice, non-linear full potential (TRANAIR), to unstructured CFD software (Star-CCM+). Support major project reviews, make presentations, write technical papers, work with requirements, and work closely with the project team including the aeroloads group. Work to increase the Technology Readiness Levels of natural laminar flow on a wing and compliant control surfaces for a transonic business jet application. -
Computational Fluid Dynamics Research StudentCal Poly Corporation Jun 2008 - Jun 2009San Luis Obispo, CaliforniaMeshed, solved and analyzed geometries such as airfoils and full blended wing aircraft. Worked on a team to find the most efficient gridding techniques for complicated geometries. Designed and analyzed a model engine for wind tunnel testing. Prepared technical report at the end of Phase 1 of the project and various intermediate reports during Phase 2.
