Achieved direct entry and a Pro Vice Chancellor Business Academic and Leadership Scholarship to Griffith University, then graduated with a double degree Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Communication. I majored in Business Management, Public Relations and Screen Production.I completed an internship at the City of Gold Coast in the Digital Communications department. My time spent working there gave me a powerful insight into how to manage and optimise high performing marketing campaigns (have expertise in Facebook Business Manager/Google Ads) across all of the main digital marketing platforms, as well as the skill of boosting engagement and guaranteeing results.I work at Radio Metro as the Programming Coordinator - however this role is so much more than programming. From overseeing all of the DJ shows & announcers that we have on air to liaising with our sponsors, coordinating and doing interviews to managing a prime time ‘Show Takeover’ slot on air, my role definitely keeps me on my toes. I enjoy not only the technical side of things managing the back end of the software, inserting all of the music into the system but also the creative side - creating ads (especially the movie adverts for all of the latest films at Event Cinemas), to tags (for major international artists from Steve Aoki to Tiesto, Joel Corry and more) and sweepers from not only our local DJ’s on air but also international ones.I have put my business, public relations and screen production knowledge to use promoting and managing work as a Music Producer / DJ. Not only have I toured QLD while holding residencies at prestigious Gold Coast music venues but I also consistently work with popular radio stations (Hit Gold Coast, Triple M, Radio Metro) and play at major corporate and sporting events (Versace, Gold Coast Suns etc); I would not have been able to work with these companies without a strong work ethic, professional attitude and social media advertising knowledge. I am also very familiar with email marketing clients as I have used them many times as a promotional tool for new music.I am a very positive, task-driven ambitious person who thrives in a team environment. I’m a fast learner and am passionate about achieving top results. I enjoy a challenge and won’t stop at second-best. I also know that any team having fun, enjoying what they’re doing and working well together leads to great results; not only on the bottom line but by creating a fantastic company culture.
