I lead the design development and creative direction of a5 projects, including branding and identity, digital and offline design, naming and more.

Since July of 2009, I had the pleasure of serving as a member of the executive board for the Chicago chapter of the AIGA (the professional association for design).I'm interested in large-scale economic and demographic trends, and how they relate to clients and the design industry in general, and serving as treasurer dovetailed nicely with that.

I cannot say enough about the great teamwork and experience I had at VSA. It is a magical place. We were/are (it never really leaves, I still have the tattoo) truly motivated, truly dedicated. At VSA, I directed a team of designers for clients such as Harley-Davidson, Steelcase (office furniture) and SRAM (bicycle components), worked on the rebranding and deployment of Turnstone (a division of Steelcase), developed themes and design concepts for annual reports for Tyson Foods, Kaman and Harley-Davidson, concepted and directed complex on-location photo shoots for Tyson Foods and Steelcase, concepted and designed multiple collateral and promotional items for Potlatch Paper (now Sappi Paper).

I started my career at VSA Partners in 1995, just days after graduation. I was the design lead for Potlatch Paper, SRAM Corporation, Tyson Foods and Harley-Davidson accounts on branding and print projects.I also worked as part of the design teams for Time Warner, Campbell Soup, Tyson Foods, Harley-Davidson, Kodak, General Motors, H20+ and Second Harvest.
