Since joining on Day 2, I worked alongside the founder to help grow the business from an idea-stage business to become London's leading urban gardening e-commerce business. Business Lead: • Led the B2B sales department supplying plant orders to offices, shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. • Worked closely with product team to sketch wireframes and build B2B landing pages, implementing changes to hit conversion rate KPIs.• Responsible for customer experience from the point of enquiry to delivery of the final product. • Generated over £500k of revenue and secured sales from market-leading brands such as Levi Strauss, Google, Harrods and Sweaty Betty.• Recruited and managed a Business Development Manager to help sustain the growth of the business. Merchandising Manager: • Responsible for the sourcing, on-boarding and content creation and management of all of Patch’s retail products. • Sourced over new plants, pots and accessories for the website from new suppliers. • Managed photo shoots of new and current products. Operations Manager: • Supported the founder to design and test a prototype by applying design thinking methodology from user research to user testing in order to successfully hit investor sales targets.• Worked alongside the Founder to create a scalable business model from a pre-seed stage business.• Led customer relations from point of enquiry to delivery of the final product. • Successfully developed and implemented operational processes alongside the COO that allowed the company to scale.
