Different IRBC sector agreements are hosted by the Dutch Social Economic Council (SER). They promote due diligence based on OECD guidance and UNGP's and it's integration into companies' internal management systems. The IRBC department assists companies in building the foundation for sustainable global supply chains of signatory companies. Retail CSR Consultancy (RCC) offers practical support through step-by-step social compliance improvements in your retail supply chain and supports companies setting up effective Human Rights Due Diligence systems.- November 2015 - Present: Strategic advice on how to influence the fashion supply chains for positive impact & various training development activities for smaller factories, traders and service providers in Asia and Europe.- November 2015 - September 2016: Various social compliance and environment inspections at factories in China and Vietnam with follow-up remediation plan support. - October 2016 - October 2017: Support on implementation of the Dutch Agreement on Sustainable Garments and Textile at SER: Sociaal-Economische Raad / Social Economic Council.- November 2015 - Febuary 2017: Various training development and delivery activities for BSCI (how to read an audit report effectively, working with remediation plans, getting-buy in for BSCI from your business partners, due diligence in practice)

Responsible for HEMA CSR policy in general and HEMA Social Compliance policy in particular. In the last year I have also been involved in rolling out a new Safety and Quality system for our suppliers worldwide.- Develop and contribute to HEMA CSR and Social Compliance policy- Manage HEMA's Social Compliance policy and oversee everyday operations - Communicate the Social Compliance policy throughout HEMA's global supply chain- Maintain regular contact with HEMA FE Sourcing offices/Agents to address local issues and challenges and to oversee whether HEMA's policy is implemented correctly- Track and report trends and risks related to csr, social compliance and labor conditions globally- Review pre-sourcing and existing facility audit results and approve or disqualify facilities- Monitor and follow-up on post-audit corrective action plans for production locations- Communicate regularly with Agents/Suppliers’ Compliance Officers to drive compliance improvements- Report on suppliers status to HEMA Management- Develop training materials for buyers, suppliers and agents and train them- Build and maintain stakeholder relations
