Hello! I am Frances Hill, an undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Dallas, focusing on business, advertising, marketing analytics, and creative design. I have spent time understanding consumers and their shopping habits to answer the big question: What do consumers want? Honestly, they want a few things, but one of them is what drove me to marketing. Consumers want honesty, but what does that mean? Consumers want transparent and diverse marketing and advertising to create more substantial and meaningful connections between consumers and businesses. Consumers are tired of not knowing what’s in products or what goes on behind the scenes at big corporations. Consumers are tired of not seeing themselves represented or supported by companies. There is no better way to see what works in marketing and advertising than to conduct market research. Still, one of the good things about the internet is that companies are constantly getting feedback about their marketing tactics, and anyone can harness that research. I take the time to keep up with and understand current trends with consumers on social media. I analyze people’s responses to existing marketing campaigns. I am looking for the opportunity to interview for internships and part-time jobs in the business and marketing sphere where I can harness my abilities and foster transparency. I am an organized, innovative, and determined student with leadership and customer service experience.
