Based on these findings, I develop customized strategies for minimizing exposure to harmful substances. These strategies may include implementing ventilation systems, using non-toxic products, or replacing certain materials.

Managing an operations team of over 50 people, the event became one of the largest women centered conferences on Long Island, NY with an attendance of over 5K for it’s last in person event before the pandemic.

These projects included a water quality monitoring project for the Great South Bay in Long Island, NY, taxonomy projects focused on marine mollusks, and the monitoring and research of horseshoe crabs conducting, reviewing and analyzing electron microscope scans.

Collaborated with esteemed senior Coastal Resource scientists and Army Corps engineers to navigate the complex Coastal Use Permit process, creating strong connections with government agencies and stakeholders. Whether working independently or closely assisting coastal resource scientists, environmental scientists, and engineers, I have been instrumental in reviewing and analyzing project-specific data, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, I have conducted vital field investigations on wetland restoration and delineation, played a key role in the management of water quality monitoring stations, and performed comprehensive Total Suspended Solids (TSS) analysis while consistently updating the associated database. My contributions have extended to the preparation of highly technical and scientific reports, further enhancing the knowledge and understanding of critical coastal resource management initiatives.

Worked with a team of senior scientists on creating a comprehensive land use plan for North Stradbrook Island, “Minjerribah”. Known as the second largest sand island in the world. It is prized locally and internationally for its cultural, historical and environmental values. Conducted research on land use planning strategies, environmental regulations, and best practices. Collected and analyzed relevant data and utilized Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to create maps, analyze spatial data, and visualize land use patterns.
