• Leads the benefit function for a Health and Welfare, Retirement, and PTO program for over 5,000 employees • Supervises the daily administration of benefits including maintenance of records, vendor management, and servicing internal customers • Leads the annual Open Enrollment process including design and cost analysis, communication, and implementation• Partner with other HR and business teams related to ongoing promotion and education of benefit, retirement, and PTO programs• Ongoing monitoring and management of company-wide program budget as well as department cost center budget• Ensures ongoing compliance of all programs including ACA testing, 5500s, NDT, and required annual disclosures• Manages and coaches a staff of two benefit administrators to successfully and efficiently meet the needs of staff and leadership

• Support clients through the annual management cycle including strategy, vendor management, plan negotiations and pricing, employees contributions, and communications• Project manages a team of analysts, consultants, and various subject matter experts to provide clients with high quality, timely deliverables that meet or exceed their expectations, while managing to the committed scope of work and budget• Develop and grow client and vendor relationships as a single point of contact for the client team as well as develop an extensive network within the business and market as resources for the team• Have knowledge and general understanding of benefits-related topics including but not limited to, compliance, heath reform, total health management concepts, and marketplace trends• Manage an ongoing client book of business comprised of employers with 2,000 to 15,000 employees• Participate in sales opportunities with existing client and prospective clients

• Responsible for having knowledge and general understanding of topics that may be of value to clients or prospects, including but not limited to, compliance, heath reform, total health management concepts, and market trends• Provide financial analysis to the renewal process as well as monthly and on-demand reporting • Responsible for the entire vendor marketing process for clients including RFP, comparison spreadsheets, and implementation of final plan designs • Assist in a variety of Health Management projects including implementation audit, vendor inventory, vendor implementation and ongoing management, strategy development, and prospect proposal development

• Maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and employees regarding group life insurance and disability policies • Manage proposals and presale activity from small business to national case size • Service over 300 customers by managing information requests and technical questions• Resolve issues and improve service levels with the brokers and clients in multiple states

• Administer a Health and Welfare program for Active Employees and Retirees across multiple states• Responsible for the administration and maintenance of a retirement program with defined benefit and defined contribution plans • Project Leader on HRIS software conversion from Horizon to HR Perspective
