Together with my wife Marloes (Medical Doctor) and over 70 other great colleagues, we worked hard to improve the quality and access to healthcare. My daily work gave people the ideas and power to improve the hospital. By amplifying their voices and sharing their stories with the rest of the world, we received funding to improve the hospital.Main responsibilities• Managing the hospital's day-to-day operations, including quality patient care, budgeting, staffing, purchasing, and relationship management with regional stakeholders.• Closely communicating with staff and patients and maintaining positive relationships with government officials, NGO's, and community partners.• Manage the hospital's budget and financial planning to ensure that the hospital can provide the best service at the lowest possible price.• Fundraising, project management, and supervision of various improvements, construction, and renovation projects.

Tasked with managing a scale-up media company's day-to-day financial and operational functions. Part of the management team. Gained leadership skills by growing the company from 4 to 25 employees into a profitable business and the biggest sustainability platform of the Netherlands. Led, coached and inspired different teams to execute and ensure the implementation of company strategy, culture and further growth.
