Currently finishing a research masters into lesser black-backed gull migration.My interests are many and include (sea)birds, solving human-wildlife conflict, rewilding, bird migration, evolution and extinction. I am also interested in science communication and have worked as a freelance presenter and narrator.I have experience in presenting and narrating nature films, as well as doing amateur filmmaking myself, having come first and third in two national film competitions, and was the narrator of the rewilding film Why Not Scotland by the Scottish Rewilding Alliance and produced by Scotland: The Big Picture in early 2024. I'm also a trainee bird ringer, wildlife survey volunteer and wildlife rehabilitator.I was involved in helping to change the Scottish gull licensing law in 2021 with Humane Wildlife Solutions and NatureScot.
