From a wide interest in the way we organize our societies, I'm passionate about contributing to their development to improve the livelihood of the people. Understanding other cultures and close interaction with the people are key. My background in macro economics, finance and (international) law helps me to analyse local and global complexities. Based on my past commercial experience I have a strong belief in inclusive agri-businesses, that acknowledge the interdependency of suppliers, producers, and consumers to realize sustainable economic growth. Therefore, I joined social enterprise Chakka Origins, that sustainably sources and processes specialty natural ingredients from Ethiopia's biosphere reserves. We are dedicated to building a sustainable business model around regenerative agroforestry practices in partnership with smallholder female farming communities. Very excited to support the growth of this inclusive, eco-friendly start-up, providing beautiful plant-based products Of Forest Origins (= Chakka Origins), for the global personal care and wellness markets!
