Effective November 1, 2012, Greenberg Turner's immigration practice has joined KPMG's affiliated law firm in Canada.As a Sr. Immigration Coordinator, the position involves the management of our corporate clients multinational immigration needs. This includes assisting with the coordination of work permit requests, liaising with client companies, employees and local counsel worldwide to streamline immigration processes.This role requires excellent multitasking, organizational and the ability to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills within a fast-paces environment. Further to my experience within the firm, my role has also expanded to include providing training on proprietary software systems, both internally and externally, as well as liaising with clients to provide end-user support and to build client site solutions. This focus on training also extends to training on internal processes, as well as the preparation of training materials.

This position involves working with corporate clients with their multi-national immigration needs. Working with our clients, I assist with the coordination of work permit requests, liaising with the client company, employees, and local counsel around the world to streamline the immigration process. Countries of expertise include (but not limited to): Brazil, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Thailand.

During this time I worked in Asia as an English as a Second Language teacher. This involved classroom activities, course preparation and event planning. Levels taught from kindergarten thru to adult business level English.
