• Oversee day-to-day support of 167 scholars including mentoring opportunities, professional development, campus involvement, one-on-one check-ins, and university processes• Lead yearly events such as New Scholar Orientation, Awards Ceremony, Graduate-Mentor Luncheon, and networking events• Organize student-donor interactions through event attendance and community service opportunities• Connect with community organizations to share scholarship opportunities. • Facilitate cross-campus collaborations among academic, community, and other various departments. • Represent the program in the community and be an effective advocate for the university• Serve as development officer for the Latino Scholarship Program raising more than 100k in the first year• Represent the department in various campus-wide committees

• Provide college advising using a one-stop, case management approach to effectively guide TheDream.US Scholars through all aspects of their college careers.• Connect USF campus partners including admission, financial aid, Dean of Students, with program scholars. • Serve as liaison between USF and TheDream.US. • Share enrollment, performance, persistence, and graduation data with university leadership and TheDream.US as requested• Assist Scholars in developing individualized education plans for degree completion, including addressing any financial or other barriers to college success• Serve a UndocuAlly facilitator and train-the-trainer

● Supervise, train, and evaluate 11-14 resident assistants in an apartment style community● Utilize a university-wide case management platform to perform an intrusive-advising approach to holistic wellness, enrollment, retention, and persistence interventions ● Recruit, advise, and develop Hall Council representatives to implement community development initiatives and advocate for hall community needs ● Implement a residential curriculum that develops competency in Academic Success, Wellness, Interpersonal Skills, and Global Citizenship ● Manage all operational aspects of assigned community, including reporting concerns to appropriate facilities and operations staff, damage billing, opening and closing, occupancy management, and conducting regular safety drills and inspections ● Respond to crisis as primary essential personnel for a residential population of 6,200 students via the participation in an on-call rotation throughout the calendar year ● Serve as a hearing officer, adjudicating conduct cases and administering educational sanctions when students violate the USF Student Code of Conduct, and/or Housing Policies ● Serve as Social Justice Committee member to oversee the facilitation of signature Social Justice departmental events such as Choose-A-Better Word and Tunnel of Oppression, develop educational materials for professional staff, and manage the Social Justice Peer Educators Curriculum. ● Serve as Scholar Advisor for theDream.us USF scholar cohort.

•Liaison between the Office of Residence Life and the Office of International Student and Summer Programs•Lead/implement selection, training and supervision of 3 Program Coordinators (GAs), 15-18 resident assistants, 1 Office Assistant, and 8 drivers•Oversee the daily activities including: cultural trip, large group trips, RA programs, program graduation, etc. •Oversee a budget over 450K•Contact point for parents, university partners, third party vendors, faculty, and staff•24/7 on-call for the duration of the program (6 weeks)•Oversee the turnover of buildings to accommodate over 500 students over a 6-week period
