Hey there, my name is Flor Prieto, a Latina first-generation student at the University of Denver Colorado, I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business. I am passionate about using my leadership skills to generate insight to help businesses accomplish their goals. Denver public schools staff me in an after-school program called Discovery Link. My work has helped me strengthen my ability to communicate and interpersonal skills since kids require communication and the ability to understand their needs. I have also experienced having to mediate disagreement and find agreeable solutions for multiple parties. This year I also got the courage to start a bouquet business, Which has helped me develop and execute marketing strategies, including social media.Working with children and people in general is something that I enjoy. I am a very social person who is caring and open-minded in any situation, I have strengthened my customer service skills by always ensuring a positive environment for the people around me.
