I am a private guide in Paris, creating professional guided tours that pass through wonderful cultural institutions likethe Louvre, Versailles, the Orsay, and the Orangerie, among so many others.My passion begins from my roots — I’m a native Parisienne, born and raised in Le Marais.Since the age of 15, I’ve been studying art history in this city, walking in my mother’s footsteps,as she is also a guide-conférenciere. In my formative years, I remember spending entire daysroaming the national museums of Paris, taking in the masterpieces of the Medieval era, theRenaissance, and our own time.I studied at the University of Sorbonne for five years, obtaining my license as a guide-conférenciere. It’s there that I received an education in art history and music. I focused onHistory, Art, and Society — a program that offered a sweeping view of Parisian culture. (I alsostudied music and played in a band here in Paris!)This combination of art history and performance led to a particular interest in studying theaterand museography, the study of museums.After graduating, I interned at the Salon du Livre, Maison Gallimard, and Belfond. Since then,I’ve worked as an art guide in many capacities. Sometimes, I work with artists looking to findinspiration in a single work of art. At other times, I give tours for groups through travel agenciesand hotels. And I even offer my tour service in Paris directly to the public.I work with a small, selective team of engaging and educated tour guides to help peopleunderstand and connect with the incredible art my home has to offer. It’s this mission that fillsme with passion every day: to share the beauty and wonder of Paris with the world.
