I am a new grad ambassador at Toronto Exchange Hub at OSPE and we have monthly meetings to talk about current engineering topics, issues, and interests. At the hub, I work with industry professionals and new grads, EITs and students to run engineering panel talks and events for OSPE members.Nomination: OSPE Ambassadors Recognition for National Volunteer Week 2021

• Consolidated all the present projects into a fully functional excel database for easy scheduling.• Trained 3 summer students about the production line in the shop and the structure of the company.• Spearheaded a shielding project overseeing the communication with the client, purchasing of material, and installing the material.• Biggest Challenge: Singlehandedly coordinated the purchasing and shipment of material from China to Canada.

• Dedicated 3 hours per week to daily account transactions and generating cheques to reimburse students• Managed the Quickbook and Square accounts for a duration of 3 months and monitored weekly activites.

• Arranged 5 in person meetings per day for the supervisor with employers and coop students by communicating back and forth via email to schedule a date and time.• Documented and developed processes to show new employees how to undergo a task by creating a laid-out instruction guide with images per step.• Utilize strong verbal communication skills when presenting a research project on attrition to 3 professional staff members.

• Wrote letters to the Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) federal and provincial government for clients by using professional written techniques to answer the agency on their behalf. • Learned to navigate and use several new software to assist in inputting debits and credits of the client including using the program Quickbooks to enter and pay bills, record deposits, create trial balances and view reports.• Analyzed written reports and compared the values and data of the clients versus the government.
