My work at Carta is a great culmination of my experience as an all-rounded corporate attorney and passion for business building and growing relationships. I lead a team responsible for Carta’s partnerships and business development initiatives with top law firms in the ECVC, and more broadly, corporate practice. Approximately 50% of newly sourced revenue for Carta's core business is attributed to our team.This multidisciplinary and cross-functional role brings me to work on product (ie cap table and legal tech tools), GTM and other business strategies, as well as law firm and ecosystem partnerships.

I worked with a diverse group of tech companies and their founders on a wide range of corporate matters, spanning from entity formation, founder/employee onboarding and incentive structuring, commercial agreement negotiations, financing, and corporate transactions (both acquisition and exit). I also represented investors (VCs, HNWIs) who invest in young companies, too.

Given Withers' focus on private wealth, I got to work with a very bespoke group of clients as their corporate counsel. I represented HNWI clients, many of them business-owning, with LP fund investments, family office/fund formation set ups, strategic investments in portfolio companies worldwide, M&A transactions (mostly on the sell-side), and asset financing (including private jet acquisition or leases), to name a few. It is from my time at Withers that I shaped my practice as a corporate generalist, sharpening my skills as a lawyer who knows how to advise and handle a wide range of transactions of different flavors.

I was the legal lead for a family office on a corporate/real estate transaction that was valued at over US$5B at the time of sale. Engaged a Vault 50 firm as the FO's legal counsel in bringing the deal across the finish line.

I started my legal career at Davis Polk, resident in Hong Kong. I worked on a number of capital market transactions as a young lawyer, including the successful listings of SOEs on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.I also practiced in the Litigation Department, splitting time between Hong Kong and New York, where I worked with other Davis Polk lawyers on a number of high profile FCPA, OFAC and other cross-jurisdictional white collar investigations at the time.
