I have been a subtitle translator, author or linguist since 2008. I have been working with major localization companies in the industry over the past 15 years, including the SDI Media, Taiwan (now part of the Iyuno Media Group), the Iyuno Media Group, Keywords Studios, the TVi Corporation, the YT Studio, etc. I have completed more than 10,000 projects on schedule, with great records and acclaim from my clients. I also provide QC services to the companies I collborate with. Most of the works I have done include subtitle translation and QC for documentaries, movies, TV series, and programs. I value work ethics, communication, responsibility, punctuality and attention to details. I honor the NDAs with my clients. Therefore, I am not at the liberty to dislose specifics of the works I have completed over the years, but some of them do come with my translator's credit 王靜怡 at the end of the shows.Prior to becoming a translator, I worked for Taiwan's best English-language newspaper Taipei Times as a staff beat reporter for about 5 to 6 years, covering primarily political and educational news. I also covered Taiwan's presidential elections in 2008 and 2012 and other major regional elections. I wrote numerous articles and features, many of which are still included in the newspaper's database and can be referenced with my English byline on the Internet. I was part of the editorial board later on before I unfortunatey had to leave the newspaper because of relocation to another city.
