Collaborated with Suzhou Wetland Conservation Station for laboratory access; researched the prevalence of epiphyte-associated microplastics in China’s third-largest freshwater lake; obtained submerged epiphyte samples from 3 sites; assessed 11 H2O2 + FeSO4 digested samples with Laser Direct Infrared Imaging; reviewed 22 papers about epiphytes and microplastics in freshwater lakes; managed and analyzed data with Excel sheets; published the paper on UCIxGATI Journal.
