Hello! My name is Florence, and I am a dedicated activist currently in the post-baccalaureate Paralegal Studies program at Madison College, and looking to expand into the legal field. Specifically, I am most interested in civil rights law. I have a strong passion for social justice, equity and diversity that has been reflected in my professional and non-professional life.My greatest strengths are my organizational and communications skills. In my current job as Campus & Community Organizer, I recruit volunteers from the community and organize events such as door-knocking canvasses, phone banking, and tabling at local events, specifically to encourage participation in the 2024 Presidential Election coming up. I have worked a number of customer service jobs, and door-to-door jobs from sales to canvassing and fundraising for political organizations, and therefore have a lot of experience interfacing with people, both in that "customer service" or client-facing sense, and in the sense of coordinating diplomatically with other members of a team.I am also proficient and have experience with the Microsoft Office suite, and am very capable of managing paperwork and data entry.
