Florence is a Brooklyn-based Theatre Director and Costume Designer originally from Aotearoa - New Zealand. As an artist she is committed to creating spaces that are joyful, intentional, and honest. She has a particular interest in worlds with an element of the magic in the mundane, that centers on women and LGBTQ+ stories that look at our relationship to our bodies, each other, and the world. Florence has also worked with The Bushwick Starr, En Garde Arts, The Public Theater, Rattlestick Playwrights Center, Irondale Ensemble Project, and Northwest Children's Theater and School.
