Industrial Placement student internship at The Porous Materials Institute of Paris (IMAP), an ESPCI-CNRS-ENS research laboratory. Project focused on developing the use of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) in mixed-matrix membranes as selective interlayers for the development of Lithium-Sulfur batteries. Synthetic and analytical experience including PXRD, BET, SEM and the assembly and galvanostatic testing of coin cells.

Trained with and represented the University at regional and national races, including BUCS Regatta and Henley Womens Regatta.

Organic Chemistry Curriculum Development - selected to participate in a 2-week funded project involving the testing of the PeerWise platform as a resource for undergraduate chemistry students. The role included the writing of sample questions, provision of feedback on other participants questions, and engagement in discussion on the efficacy of the software, and its potential for use in the department.
