As head of legal master agreements negotiation team, my role is to define the contractual policy of the company (following up regulatory changes, creating and updating templates and procedures, coordinating with other departments to obtain their sign off on these, training other stakeholders, providing guidance on legal issues and signing off the master agreements in French or in English).My previous position provided me with valuable experience in drafting and negotiating an extended range of contracts (distribution agreements, service agreements, IT agreements…).I have led some major projects involving finance, asset management, sales, risk control, and operational departments and have set up various procedures in order to streamline internal processes and comply with the changing regulations.Prior to my company experience, I was a lawyer in a French business law firm for 5 years, while teaching corporate law at the University of Paris XI – Sceaux which gave me a solid basis in commercial and corporate law.
