Twenty plus years ago I was teaching art to homeschooled children. At that time, my husband and I purchased our first computer and I was on the internet for the first time. My sister had been for a few years previous and it just seemed like sci fi come true to me - information at my fingertips. For someone with an insatiable curiosity, this was huge!Plus it gave me an idea of producing lessons online. At the time, everything was super clunky and my patience with some things tended and tends to be short. I had a lot to learn and technology had to become much more user-friendly for me.Now, I believe my skills, my ideas and the user-friendliness of applications to get everything done have finally all come together. I am creating art lessons utilizing PowerPoint. My narrations are recorded and edited with Audacity and video is refined and edited with OpenShot. Many images in my lessons are my own hand-rendered drawingsFor my website, I am using WordPress, with Ashe as my theme and Elementor as my editor.
