I was the Android reporter for both PCWorld (www.pcworld.com) and Greenbot (www.greenbot.com).

I wrote about Android, consumer-centric gadgets, and indie gaming. Sometimes I wrote about BlackBerry and other mobile operating systems, too.

For my year as Managing Editor, I assigned stories, kept track of page flow, edited stories for both the magazine and the website according to both the Mac|Life and official Apple style guide, managed the monthly budget for both entities, wrote web stories and features when time permitted, and used various analytics suites and SEO practices to help increase traffic to Maclife.com.I also gained extensive experience traveling and covering various industry-related trade shows, such as Macworld/iWorld and CES in Las Vegas. During 2011, I also developed a video reel through weekly filming of The Mac|Life Show.

I was a daily blogger for Maximumpc.com, but would occasionally contribute to the monthly print publication. My duties included managing the news queue for the online blogging staff and shipping products back to manufacturers.

I created a reviews database for the magazine staff and blogged daily for Maclife.com.

I uploaded magazine content to Yogajournal.com.

I was a reporter for a family-owned publication, covering local events in Fremont, Union City, and Hayward.
