    In August 2014, recognizing quality issues in the Logistics Department I was tasked to step in to manage it.Responsible for the extreme turnaround for the Logistics Department that ships supplies to over 4,000 wellness events annually nationwide. New processes have resulted in reducing the price per shipped pound close to 50%. We are now able to plan and ship to events so supplies arrive onsite 3 days before an event instead of the day before, allowing time for delivery issues to be resolved and event setup to occur in a timely manner. Equipment tracking has also resulted in a significant improvement in ensuring that equipment is returned from events faster allowing for quicker turnaround and lower inventory requirements; it also greatly reduced "lost" equipment at events. At the 2015 WCS Annual Meeting the Logistics Team was awarded the most improved department for 2015. The Logistics Department is very often cited by clients and employees as providing a top quality service that goes above and beyond to get it right. I am so proud of my team and the improvements we made together.
