Internship mission carried out at the GIP Littoral Aquitain (public institute), contributing directly to update its regional strategies on coastal risk.Topic : Defining coherent coastal flooding risk management strategy with other hazards encountered along the coast : coastal retreat and river flooding. > Assessment of existing scheme and current practice in France and in Europe (UK, Holland, Italy)> Multi-scale analyses : European flood directive / flood risk management plan (national/regional/local), local actions Actions Programs for Flood Prevention> Evaluation of multiple PPRL in Aquitaine (PPRL : regulatory plans for the prevention of natural risk)> Precise understanding of public policy and water management institution in France> Conception of a coherent and innovative flooding risk management model (Diagramm articulating 4 management modes -> Objectives / Action plan> Animation of steering committee, technical committee (state services, teritorial authority)> Participation in a report "Costal adaptive measures to climate change" with public research institute BRGM (coastal retreat / coastal flooding)> GIS : inter-comparaison of coastline retreat (post Xynthia 2014), area calculation (accretion / erosion)
