Using a mouse model previously constructed in which mouse haematopoiesis is reconstituted by CXCR4-/- fetal liver to understand which signalling pathways and target are activated by the niche, we investigated how the niche regulates CXCR4 expression and functions, with intention of translating the data from basic research towards new-targeted therapies of AML.

Through permanent innovation, patents filing, and scientific collaboration, Acubens aimed to become a reference on antibody market. As such, the study of regulators behind the diseases are essential for the development of new and innovative treatments. In partnership with the Gustave Roussy Institute, 1st centre for cancer treatment in Europe, and the Cancéropôle Ile de France, one of the objectives of the team under the direction of Fawzia LOUACHE was the development of a high throughput screening platform. This was to be made available for research and drug development purposes for both Inserm researchers and health industry actors. This platform is to be based on the use of the shRNA gene silencing technology to study gene actions while proposing different study models format (in vivo or in vitro).

Which, combined with increasing anthropogenic methane production could become a global issue. Thus, understanding the mechanisms behind methanogenesis could provide key solutions for the future.
