Door een krachtig en positief imago neer te zetten, zullen mensen met een handicap makkelijker integreren in de samenleving.De LWF organiseert evenementen en initieert diverse projecten met inzet van media (tv, radio, internet, print). BinBang is an all-in-one box system that makes it easy to separate all waste streams in your house or office. Our mission: save 250kg of materials from going to the incinerators per person per year! I created a succesfull crowdfundcampaign for BinBang and had an advisory role for a couple of months.

World's first realistic oceanic cleanup method. Development of a technological solution for realistically removing 7,250,000 metric tons of plastic from the marine environment without the by-catch and emissions. www.theoceancleanup.comBoyan Slat and I created a 100 person team after arranging funding to start a professional feasibility study to see if Boyan's idea to clean the world oceans would be viable and financially feasible. In June 2014, after the yearlong feasibility study, the results generated from the team proved it was and we were able to then progress with the pilot phase.

The Green Miles is a project in which we sailed around the world in two years, raising awareness on ocean climate. It was both a foundation and a VOF. There were partnerships with The World Wildlife Fund, The Red Cross, Marine Stewardship Council, Sea Shepherd and Whale Conservation. During the project we worked on a documentary . The AVRO broadcasted our reality-docu Zee, Zout en Zeilen in 8 episodes on Dutch National Television in 2011, Netherlands 3, prime time every Sunday. After I sailed around the world as a Skipper for our project The Green Miles, I did a lot of delivery`s for sailing boats or sometimes motorboats. I am still available for delivery`s. Between March 2012 and October 2012 I did this job fulltime. The other period only when I was available.

Bomarine is an innovative watersport shop that sells luxury and safety products with a focus at the Sailing industry.

After our circumnavigation Arjen and I wrote a book about our 2 years sailing trip. The book is Eco printed, has a hard cover and includes a lot of pictures. It is a 3000 pieces edition. This is a lot for a sailing/adventure book in The Netherlands. In Dutch we would say, "een mooie bekroning op een nog mooiere reis!" Besides writing the book I wrote articles and columns for different magazines.

During this period I worked with the Beeldbrigade to create our documentary for Dutch television; Zee, Zout & Zeilen. Finally the AVRO broadcasted our 8-episodes reality-docu about our sailing trip round the world prime time on Dutch National TV. www.zzez.avro.nl
