Commissioning of two ice-breaking rescue and salvage vessels ( MPSV06) for Nordic Yards.

My tasks included:• Approval of the electrical drawings• Monitor and inspection of the construction of the electric end of main, auxiliary, cargo machinery and equipment in the vessel. • Shop testing of equipment at manufacturers works also Factory acceptance.• Attendance of post test strip-down inspections as appropriate.• Acceptance of inspections concerned with the electrical outfitting of the vessel´s such as installation checks, pre commissioning, commissioning and sea trials prior to the handover of the vessel.• Discussions with representatives of the appropriate department of the shipyard of any items where standards were in question or where problems had arisen. • To propose, discuss and recommend remedial action.• To ensure that all defects found during construction, commissioning and sea trials are reported and to ensure that all mechanical defects appertaining to the vessel are rectified prior to acceptance of the vessel. • To act as a liaison between Hartmann-Offshore Headquarters and the Site Team• To manage spare part requirements for the vessels. • Correspondence with third parties involved with Hartmann Offshore. • Primary duties include engineering, operations, maintenance, repair, and project management for 12 vessels.
