Florian is a chemist and material scientist by training who obtained his PhD in physics with focus on the synthesis and in-depth characterization of optoelectronic materials as well as the fabrication of photovoltaic devices. He is an experimentalist and is delighted by the application of his scientific skills and knowledge. Since being a member of the highly interdisciplinary Optoelectronics Group in Cambridge, Florian enjoys to consider scientific challanges from various viewpoints and to solve these in intensive and productive teamwork. Florian has a profound background in international experience. He studied in Germany, Sweden and the UK and has collaboration partners from all over the world. To date, Florian is enjoying post-doctoral scientist position at the Hahn-Schickard Society for Applied Research and develops membrane-electrode assemblies for electrochemical energy applications.
