I have been super passionate about technology since I can remember. I could share childhood memories about dismantling gadgets and recycling their components into walkie talkies, for example. Ever since, I have been thrilled about riding the wave of technological evolution. While working on research projects at Festo, I discovered that keeping the customer at heart makes all the difference between merely being thrilled about technology and driving true innovation. When I became a project lead, I figured out that my true passion lies in bringing people together. It is one thing to work with technology, but it is another to be part of a team that can take technology to new heights.Later, as team head, the opportunity to establish a competence center for model-based testing in Bulgaria confirmed my fascination for other countries and cultures. Consequently, my career journey continues in India where I have the privilege of hiring and heading a growing team of over 20 multidisciplinary professionals for a German global player. In the first months in India, I sometimes found myself assuming that there is only one way to understand and solve a problem. However, living and working in a culture so different from my own has taught me two major lessons: Listen carefully and value multi-disciplinary and culturally specific approaches. Today, I am all about connecting the dots between people, technology, and cultures. I strongly believe that bringing together the right people with the right ideas leads to exceptional results. In short, my journey from childhood gadget-building to leading multidisciplinary teams across continents has been all about leveraging the potential of technology and teams to create benefit for the customer. If you are looking for someone who can turn curiosity into cutting-edge solutions and build teams that thrive on intercultural and multidisciplinary diversity, let’s connect.
